Grrr... Road construction vent!

I hate construction season!  I live in the far north-eastern corner of the greater Syracuse area, so EVERYTHING is either south, east or south-east.  Wouldn't you know there is major construction on a road running east and west that includes a complete redesign of the intersection that I have to go through to get anywhere.  Then, if I try to head west, there is another intersection getting on rte 81 that is too small for the normal flow of traffic, they are redoing 81 there which has caused the entire corridor to come to a stand still all day.  I made it about 50 feet in 20 minutes the other day, before I came to my senses that is was going to take about an hour to get the one mile to the bottle neck and did a U-turn.  One project is by the town/county while the other is the state, so I get how this could have happened, but this summer is going to be hell trying to go anywhere.  I have a feeling Ty is going to be missing a LOT of school this summer.
