Opinion on photographer at DS's 1st B-Day party

So I had the idea of having a photographer come to DS's b-day party, because we're putting quite a bit into this and I want to be able to enjoy it with him and our guests, not worry about running around with a camera to get pictures.

I found a woman on CL who is just building her business and offered to do the whole thing for free if we allowed her to use the pictures on her site as a promotion. So I thought that was great! But as it gets closer I'm second guessing myself. Will people think it's totally moronic to have a photographer at a 1 year olds b-day party?
