Sleeping in swing

I hate to compare my kids but B sleeps great in his bassinet, 6-7 hours at night. Justin did about the same at his age. N sleeps about 4-5 hours at a time but only in her swing. She just grunts and fusses like crazy in her bassinet and won't go to sleep. I'm nervous it will make the transition to a crib even harder for her in a few weeks if she continues to sleep in the swing at night. Also, I feel bad because she spends a lot of her day in there already. It's one of those "I would never ___" that went out the window when I got desperate enough for sleep.

Anyone else's kiddos sleep in swing/bouncy seat (etc...)? Was it just a phase? Did they have a hard time moving to a crib?
