I've officially dropped

At my OB appointment today I got checked and I'm 1 cm dilated, 70% effaced and the baby has completely dropped and is in position. My OB said that this was great progress, since I was not dilated at all at my last internal check 2 weeks ago. She said that I would probably deliver very close to my due date if not sooner and I have very good chances that I will not be late. I can't believe it!!
