how much is too much? (milk)

So, Evan has been on a milk kick the past couple weeks.

He has always loved his milk, and typically gets a full cup in the morning (9oz), and then some warm milk before bed (6oz) and sometimes a cup here and there during the day. I typically don't give it to him w/ meals, because he will just drink and not eat.

Lately he asks for it all.day.long, and every time I open the fridge he tries to grab the gallon. If I give him water he'll take a sip and then ask for milk. He has already had 2 sippys full this morning. I've been giving him water w/ his meals but he doesn't really drink any.
