Another vent...am I overreacting?

My best friend just told me that she and her mother received solicitations for girl scout magazine's from my niece (she actually just wanted to know if I wanted them to buy some).  Apparently my sister took it upon herself to use the names from my baby shower 2 years ago to send solicitations.  I am so livid.  Never asked, never even gave me a heads up.  So now it looks like I willingly passed the addresses over.  I'm sending emails trying to apologize but I have no idea who they went to and my sister, who thinks what she did was fine, won't tell me who got them.

I called her and told her she overstepped boundries and she needs to think about how idiotic her actions are sometimes.  Am I overreacting? 

This on top of her meddling in DD's daycare has me not speaking to her.  This is my sister's typical MO.
