NBR: Pandora bracelets

So a question: If you had a Pandora bracelet, would you care if someone got you a charm that was a different brand, as long as it was interchangeable with the Pandora?

These bracelets are completely NMS, so I wouldn't care...but for someone who is into them, do you think they would? The charm is a sterling-silver bead kind, so I don't really see the difference except it doesn't say "pandora" on it anywhere...
