Paying for college

Did anyone's parent's pay for their college? I hear this all the time about wanting to save for their children's education. The only people I know of that had their education paid for were my two cousins (b/c my uncle has a great job) Other than that I have only heard of parents paying for the first year (as mine did) or something like that and then after that is was loans, loans, loans.

We hope to pay...but you never know!
