My MIL is a very generous and helpful woman but sometimes she's a total wacko. DH is going over there tonight because she is having a "reading" done over the phone. Apparently it's some pretty famous guy, George Anderson. He advertises himself as a "grief counselor" but... also as a medium who can speak to the dead. DH's family has had a lot of loses over the past 10 years or so she's hoping he can contact some of them. I understand doing this, all in good fun- like at a psychic fair or Lilydale for 30-40 bucks but DH texted me that he saw the invoice and this is costing well over $1000. I almost crapped myself.
