I don't get it..Q re: fitteds

So those GMs and Twinkie Tush (the only ones so far I've seen) are 1-expensive 2- true, really cute prints but, if they are fitteds, they get covered with a CD cover anyway, so no one can see the cute print...so what's the point? or am I missing something here?
