Do you rinse the poo off?

I've heard that breast milk poo is water soluble and so you don't have to rinse them before tossing them in the washing machine.  Sounds great to me because it takes out a step as far as washing them goes.  The diapers run through two wash cycles anyway.  My mom thinks that's so gross, though, to not rinse them before tossing them in the wash.  Do any of you actually wash them without rinsing in the toilet first?
