Bath time torture

DS has gradually started really not liking bath time. The last 2 nights it's turned into him screaming bloody murder when we put him in, we get him calmed down and playing in the water, and then we have to wash his hair and it's screaming bloody murder again.

We have toys that he plays with, I think he is just really starting to anticipate the water pouring over his head (which we try to avoid his face but it doesn't work 100%) and he hates it.  

Last night we tried having him lay back instead of pouring water over his head and that was worse if anything.

Any suggestions?
