Unisex newborn/0-3 month clothing??

My boss is due in August and she's not learning the sex until she gives birth.  I want to get her a gift of clothing since we were just talking about how there's no unisex clothing/outfits for newborns anywhere - does anyone have any suggestions??  Babies R Us is clearly divided into boy and girl - I swear there used to be a clear unisex/neutral section when I was shopping for my cousin's kids years ago???  I don't want to get her just plain white onesies . . .  Thoughts??
