XP: Could this be Molars, UTI or something else??

The last week or 2 DD has been on and off whiny and cranky. Just not herself. I can't figure out what it is. She also had a fever for 24 hrs last Friday. It got up to 102 but no other symptoms. Took her to the dr to have her ears checked and all was clear. Could she be getting new molars? I tried to look in her mouth yesterday but didnt see much going on. Her gums didn't look swollen. My only other thought was a UTI? How do you know when they have a UTI? Would you take her to the pedi to check for UTI or wait it out? Thanks!!
