River Trip

I feel like I am overthinking every. single. thing. as to whether or not it is safe, but wanted to know what you ladies thought.

Family and I are heading to Bullhead City, AZ for a river trip weekend in honor of Father's Day (it's my dad's favorite place and my parents have a house there).  We usually spend one long day at the river and I'm starting to wonder if that is a good idea for me.  While I remember MANY pregnant woman in/around the river growing up, I also remember them smoking, eating lunch meat, and all sorts of other things I'm abstaining from, so wanted to see what you ladies thought. 

My current plan is to go to the river, but make sure I have a vehicle (we usually have the boat and a jeep, in case we need to run back to the house real quick for anything) so if I feel overheated or anything I can head back to our air-conditioned house for a break.  At this point, I am also considering a dip in the river to cool off to be perfectly safe.  Thoughts?
