Weight gain and bloating...
Hey everyone,
I'm new to the board and have recently (3 months ago) gone off the nuva-ring after many many years of being on BC.
As soon as I finished my first "BC free" period, I gain 10 lbs, expanded in all directions and broke out all over my face and chest. I have gas (burping) constantly and my breasts are often sore. I took a preggers test last month and it was negative (just in case that was the reason why) and I have yet to pass an ovulation test.
I have done some research on the effects of going off BC and some of this seems normal, but how long will it all last? My diet has not changed and I have up-ed my exercise routine, but still feel like crap.
Just wondering if any of you have experienced this and what you did to resolve this and move on.
