Starting to interview childcare providers

So I go back to work in August, after a 7 month maternity leave. I am so, so grateful for the time I got with DS, but part of me is looking forward to getting back into my career and having a balance of family and work. What I am NOT looking forward to is interviewing candidates for childcare. We are lucky that we only need full day care two days a week, and then part time care from 2-4 in the afternoons the other three. But how do you find trustworthy, caring people when you feel like the most qualified person for the job is YOU? Confused
