Tackiest wedding shower invite ever

I got this invite a few years ago and still cant believe the level of tackiness. I thought you ladies would get a kick out of it.

"Please join us a for a new home shower for Joy and Tim. As you know they just moved into their new home. To shower them for their wedding this is a decorate their home shower. You been assigned the living room. Please bring gifts to decorate the living room.

The shower is potluck appetizers. Please bring 2 dozen appetizers plus 20 copies of the recipes for other guests.

The couple is registered at....."

Yes, I was ASSIGNED GIFTS (not one, many). Yeah, i didn't attend. Or send a gift.
