Clean-up time?

Hi ladies.

My DS's daycare teachers have encouraged my DH and I to start teaching him how to clean up his toys. They teach the toddlers to do so at daycare by singing a little song:  "Clean up, clean up, it's time to clean up."

For the past two weeks, I have been singing the song at home and modeling the cleaning up for him before we get ready for bed each day, but he just picks up one toy and walks around with it during the song...or he goes over an unloads what I am putting away.

Any suggestions? Perhaps it's just a matter of being consistent with the modeling and waiting for him to figure it out on his own.
