Mom names-- wrong board!

So, we all know that names have a life cycle. 

Right now, names that were popular with our grandparents and great-grandparents are particularly fashionable (well, some of them.  I am looking at you, Bertha.)

When our kids have kids, do we think they will be into OUR parents names?  My mom has a nice, non-dated sounding name (Julia) but some of here friends have such "mom" names I can't imagine them being fashionable.  WDYT?

For funsies, these are my mom's friends names.  They are all late 50s- early 60s

Barbara

Linda

Lynda (yeah, 2 "Lindas")

Marianne

Susan

Karen

Paula

Cynthia

Donna

Of the above names, I would maybe use Marianne, but spelled Mary Anne.
