Transition to crib

Hello. I'm new to this board & I'm sure this has already been asked, but... 

Any tips/ideas for transitioning my 4 week old from a swing/bounce seat to her crib?  I have been putting her in the crib during daytime naps.  I rock her to sleep, but once I put her in the crib, she is awake & crying within 5 minutes.  I do this 3 times, but after that I give in & put her in the swing so she can get some rest.  Tonight I am going to try this & see if it works better at bedtime, but am preparing myself for a sleepless night.
