Family Vent
Everyone in DH's family insists they do not treat us differently based on Lily's special needs. But, I can name at least 3 things we have been excluded from in the past year. And, today, I learned we were not invited to her cousins' birthday party. Lily was the only child in the family that was not invited.
The only saving grace we have at this point is that Lily is too young to understand she is being excluded. But, I know her ignorance will not last forever. She is a smart and social girl. And, to be honest, my feelings are hurt.
What can I do?
