NBSR: Wedding

We have a small group of friends how do a dinner party every week. We are not super close but would be classified as friends for sure. Anyways, one of the couples in the group is getting married in August. They are having a very small low key wedding with only about 40 people (mostly family) and therefore none of us are invited. We all understand and are really just happy for them that they are having the wedding that they want. 

The girls in the group really would like to do something to celebrate the bride. She is not tacky by any means so we are not interested in throwing her a shower as she would be mortified (rightly so) to have people at a shower who were not invited to the wedding. Any suggestions on something we could do to celebrate/honor the bride before the wedding or should we just leave it alone?
