I need pottry training HELP!!

My son has a genetic syndrome that presents in a similar way as high functioning ASD. He has many sensory issues, and potty training has been terrible. While he will pee on the potty if I take him there, he is perfectly content to sit in his own poo. In fact, if I ask him if he pooped, he will usually run away and hide to avoid being changed.

Are there any good resources out there to help moms potty train kids with special needs?  My son will be four in two weeks. He is ready to move into an integrated preschool academically BUT he MUST be potty trained. I have the summer to really work on this (I'm a professor and I'm off for the summer).
