hiking follow-up--younger baby

Hi all,

I was excited to read your discussion on hiking carriers.  My baby is 5 months, and we want to hike with her on day hikes all summer.  Ideally this would last us a while.  Also, I want to be able to put her on my back as soon as that's safe.  What do you suggest?
