Sling colors

I registered for a neutral colored Moby wrap, because though this one is a girl, the next could potentially be a boy.

I'm pretty much a girly girl and wear a lot of pastel and jewel tones, pink and purple being my favorite colors... So when I saw a lavender colored Moby on CL for 20 bucks I jumped on it.

I asked this question on my birth month board months ago but thought I would ask here. Do you buy things like slings with the gender of the child in mind, or do you get the color you like regardless of the gender?

I'm taking the neutral Moby off. I Alresdy got DH an Ergo anyway. This is just something I've been contemplating.
