Time of shower

I'm just curious what is the time of your shower, or what was the time.. Is it normal to have a shower from 1304 then supper at 4? Or is this unusual and if anyone had this before did your guests stay for the supper or leave before it.. Just curious as to what most people do. I've only been to a few showers that were serving sandwiches and finger foods and salads around lunch time.
