Oh, the fun we have traveling. I thought I'd finally bring the babies to meet their great grandpa in Chicago. It's 7 hours and it wasn't a bad trip, but seriously this side of the family is so weird. My uncle greeted us at the car, he barely glanced at the girls before he started complaining about a leaky water shut off valve... wtf. It's impossible to enjoy a visit because they are so negative and whiney all the time. My grandpa seemed to enjoy looking at them for two seconds, then started asking why my brother doesn't have a job and complained about him. In the meantime I was trying to get them down for naps and they weren't having it. Why did I shake up their routine for this? I know it's the right thing to do but this is terrible. We just got here but I'm so ready to leave.
