Husband wants a shower....

In need of some advice. My husband would like a baby shower for our new addition due in August, but it doesn't seem as if there is anyone who is going to host one. My side of the family hasn't even considered it, and that's fine, because this is my second child and they already threw one for me. For my DH though, this is his first child. DH seems to feel disappointed that his side of the family hasn't even mentioned a shower. 

I guess I'm just unsure of what to do....
