Preterm Labor

I'm in need of some advice or encouragement. Last night we made a trip to L&D for consistent contractions and decreased fetal movement. After about 3 hours on a moniter, the baby is doing fine but I am at high risk for preterm labor. I was given a couple of shots to stop the contractions and a shot to help speed up babies lung development. 

Today at my appt with my doctor, she said I was about 1-2 cm dilated and still having some contractions. She prescribed me an oral medication to stop the contractions and hopefully by me a couple weeks.

So I guess I'm just looking for anyone who has been through something similer to share their experience or any advise/encouragement would be greatly appreciated.
