First off my mother is law is great! I adore her, sweetest woman on earth.
But when it came to our wedding she added every teacher my husband had to the guest list for her side.. He said they wouldn't come so just give her this one. I did. They didn't come so no harm no foul.
The baby shower: I had her look over my guest list and check I didn't over look anyone for her side and she's like 'you're not inviting mrs. Soandso???' And my husband, God love him, said 'considering Abby couldn't pick her out of a line up, I'm gonna go with no!' Lol.
I did give in on some cousins on his side though because I'm inviting their mothers, in my husbands family when there's an event like this it is understood that EVERYONE get an invite.. My family is not like that, so I'm trying to get used to this lol.
