Bright red blood after internal

Bright red blood after an internal exam is normal right? I had an internal this evening and am 2cm dilated, when I got home I had bright red blood in my underwear and on the tissue when I wiped. Since then there has been no blood in the pad I put in and when I wipe there is some light pink spotting. Normal? Or woth a call?
