Belly button tears?

Ok I figured since I'm on I'll ask one more question. Has anyone else's belly button, for lack of a better word, ripped? For about a week now I've had a rip or tear that starts a little before the edge and goes down into my belly button. If I didn't know better I would think I had sliced it open with a knife. You think it's from the skin stretching? That's the only thing I can think of.
