3 cm constant pressure and pains

So I found out this week that I'm 3 cm very thin babies head is very low. I'll be 37 weeks on Saturday. And since then she has been making sure to give me lots of trouble. Constant crotch lightening and light random contractions and tightness. Just now I had the weirdest pinching feeling in my cervix. I cursed out loud when it happened LOL. My 8 year old was slightly startled LOL. Bad back pain too.
Anyways my first daughter was 2 weeks late before my water broke and she was breached, had a csection. I had no lightening crotch ect.
Im wondering from other moms who has been 3 cm dilated very thin with tons of pain and pressure, how long did it take for you to go into labor? My doc is sure I won't make it too much longer. I know everyone is different just curious of others experiences.
