• A sip n' see, where friends and family meet the baby after he or she is born
• Ultrasound reveal, where a woman has an ultrasound to make the big gender reveal to friends and family
• Bring-a-book baby shower theme, where guests are asked to bring a book for the baby's library
• Craft parties, where guests make something for the baby or help paint the nursery
