I answered your question in my earlier post. It was a while after the fact, so thought I'd mention it here.

This parenting thing is though and I don't mean this board. I'm confident that I'm doing the best I can, but once in a while I question myself and it's nice to get feedback. You sound like a great mom with tons of patience, creativity, and consistency.

What's your take on striking a balance between following your gut as a parent and listening to a friend's advice? I don't want DD to be considered a spoiled brat that is catered to constantly. Perhaps I need to work on my confidence level. It's tough since she's our first kid and there is a lot of trial and error.
