swelling and blood pressure
Hello ladies,
I am currently 36 weeks along and about three weeks ago developed foot and ankle swellling, recently my hands have becoxome swollen to. Up until Friday my blood pressure has been normal, being in the 100 to 110 over
70 range but Friday my BP was taalen by a coworker and it was 130/85 and an hour later 140/87, it doesnt help that i panicked for that hour. Called my OB and she said to take it over the weekend and keep an eye on it because they worry about preeclampsia.
I took it at a local CVS and it was 130/87, waited 15 min closed my eyes and relaxed while i took it a second time, it was 119/80 so who knows how accurate that was? I know it was accurate at work beacuse i work at a hospitalCardilogy dept....i am going in to my docs office tomorrow morning but want to know from all other expectant mommies how common it is for your blood pressure to elevate this late in pregnancy along with the lovely feet and hand swelling?????
