For those who were induced

So I am 40 plus 5 today no signs of baby... Next Thursday night I go in for my initial induction and then back on Friday morning. This is the same as what happened with dd. my parents are coming in to town on Thursday afternoon to watch dd. but I am wondering if I should even have Dh even come to the hospital with me... It is pretty boring and i will likely just read a book or nap. What would you do?
