Double stroller recs??

I'm thinking about getting a double stroller - DS is 2 yrs old & w/ a baby it will be easier going for walks, the zoo, etc.  Dh doesn't think it's necessary & thinks we should just use 2 strollers if we go out - this sounds like a total PIA to me.... 

Those of you that have 2+ kids can you give any input on this?  Is it worth getting a double stroller?

Can you give recs on a decent one that isn't super $$$$.  I'd prefer one that is front to back (not side by side) and it doesn't have to be a jogger.  We have a Chicco infant car seat, so it would have to be one that would accomodate this.  Also DS is a pretty big boy for his age, so it will have to a somewhat bigger stroller.  (He doesn't even fit in the Chicco stroller - we had to this jeep one last summer & it works great - he's super tall for his age - I love the durable wheels on this stroller too!)

I'm really thinking of maybe buying a used one locally but first I want to see which brands are good.  Thx!
