Baby gear store

Hello Austin mommies! I live just north of Austin and I'm trying to figure out where some of the best stores are to find baby gear, specifically baby carriers. I am hoping to find one that has a variety and will let me try them on and such before making my final decision. I have heard some shops are good about letting you try them out first, so I'd really like to find one of those stores. I'd like to stay as close to the north side of Austin, but will venture to the south if needed.
