Car seats??

Just curious what everyone registered for!? I registered for one, but think that I might want to change it. I'd like to find one that will last a big longer while they're small instead of having to buy a new one a year later b/c he's already outgrown it. Anyone know of any that change easily like that? Like taking part of it out will fit a bigger baby and still work for regulations? I suck at researching these, so I figured this was probably the best place to ask! Thanks!
