Gestational Diabetes

Hey everyone I have a question. 

I failed my one hour sugar test and had to do the three hour test. Well I failed it! I have not seen my doctor and won't until April 29th for my 30 week appointment. Can this hurt our daughter? What precautions do I need to be taking until my appointment? I don't eat sweets I eat a lot of fruits.
