Mommas with Boys - Circumcision

Hey Mommas - I'm educating myself on circumcision. We will be circumsing our baby boy at birth. I've read where you have to make a choice on topical cream or injection for the anesthesia. Any advice on pros and cons of both would be appreciated. We of course will be talking with our Doc at our next appointment as well, just wanted some insight. Thanks!
