freezer food during hurricane season? should I or shouldn't I?

I am starting to think about freezer food, but I live in New Orleans and my LO is due right at the beginning of hurricane season. As DH put it, will I be more mad if I make a bunch of food and then we lose power for a week like last summer, or will I be more mad with no freezer food and having to cook with a 3yo and infant underfoot? What would you ladies do? TIA!
