failed my GD test... and a few ?'s

So I went and did my GD test last week. For sure thought I was going to pass that test with flying colors...I've had two other kids, never failed the test. I have been so good about watching what I eat, and staying away from crap, and I have hardly any desire to eat sweets. Yeah, I know every pregnancy is different....I just thought it would never happen to me. I went into the doctor today for my routine check up, and my doctor came in and told me that I failed the GD test by a lot! Cut off is 130....my levels were at 160!! she said that is really high! I now have to go in this week to do my 3 hour glucose test, which I am so upset about, because my biggest fear is needles! Not to mention all the risks that may be to my baby now, which is the most upsetting part. Could it be possible that with levels that high...I may still pass my 3 hour glucose test and not have GD? Anyone else have high levels during the first test.. then pass the 3 hour test? Brandi-
