Bulging Water Bag

Has anyone had your doctor tell you that your water bag is "bulging" and that you would most likely go into labor within the next couple of days? If so, was it true? I'm due on Friday and am already nervous about going into labor. Now I'm afraid to leave the house thinking that my water is going to break any minute.
