Morphine

I'm not against epidurals, I just don't like all the things that come with it... Catheter, chained to a bed, loss of feeling in legs etc. In our birthing class, they briefly went over using morphine as a pain reliever. I don't really know much about it tho. Has anyone used it during labor, or know anyone else who has? Pros, cons?

EDIT: quick google search says it can cause breathing issues for baby. Maybe it's not a good idea....
