Light cramping

Hi all,

 For a few weeks now (since the last time I saw the doctor) I have experienced light cramping in my lower abdomen/pelvic area, especially in the middle of the night when I get up to go to the bathroom. It seems that if I hold it for a little bit when I need to go (out of just plain weariness from making the trek to the bathroom), then I start feeling the cramping, which is why I think I feel it more in the middle of the night seeing as I don't always wake up immediately when I need to go. Is anyone else experiencing this or have any idea what's going on? Obviously, if it gets any sharper I will call the dr., but will ask him about it on my next OB appointment here in a week or so anyway. Thoughts?
