Whooping Cough Vaccine

It was recommended that my husband and I both get our whooping cough vaccine before the baby arrives. I received mine around 35 weeks but my husband is refusing. Any advice on how to convince him or what kind of action needs to be taken? I really don't want to worry for the first 2 months if my baby is going to be healthy until she gets her's!

While unpacking (we just moved a week ago), I found a vaccine paper in a bag of random things. I brought it with me today to my weekly clinic appointment. The doctor said that he doesn't have to receive his vaccine since its been less than a year. I completely forgot about him getting injured last Summer and needing a Tetanus shot.

He lucked out but I'm still extremely upset that he was backing out of it just because he doesn't believe in getting vaccinated and putting our baby at risk.
