uti question

March 2013 in 3rd Trimester

I'm almost 28 weeks. I had a uti a few days ago and took care of it with kidney factors to take care of it. Also a few days ago I was starting to have lower back pain. My question is did my uti go into my kidneys or is back pain at this stage normal.
